Incredibly Blessed

We received wonderful news this week - a COURT DATE!!!! Dana will be traveling to Haiti to attend court on December 6th. We have been praying and hoping for this news for a long time! Feeling incredibly blessed today:)

Daddy hasn't seen Esther since March of 2011. He will be amazed for she has grown so much! Praying for a trip filled with hugs and kisses:)

Adoption Timeline

*November 1, 2010 – E-mail from Pastor Rigaud at Kingdom of Kid’s Orphanage stating that the next baby girl brought to KKO would be our daughter:)

*November 2, 2010 – Began Homestudy Process

*December 4, 2010 - Received e-mail from Pastor Rigaud stating that our baby girl had arrived at KKO!

*December 5, 2010 – Began Dossier Process

*January 13, 2011 - Passports Issued

*January 28, 2011 – Homestudy Complete

*March 5, 2011 – Dossier Complete – Praise the Lord!

*March 24 - 29, 2011 –Dana & I traveled to Haiti to meet Esther and deliver our dossier!

*April 28, 2011 - Sent I-600A

*June 03, 2011 - Fingerprints Done at USCIS

*June 21, 2011 - Received 171-H - I600A approved!!!

*July 7 – 12, 2011 – I traveled to Haiti to visit Esther and deliver our 171-H form.

*July 20, 2011 – Entered IBESR & received our #!!!

*December 1 - 6, 2011 - Mimi & I traveled to Haiti to celebrate Esther's 2nd Birthday:)

*July 19 - 23, 2012 - Papa, Mimi & I traveled to Haiti to visit Esther and meet Sophiana!

*July 23, 2012 - Received Presidential Dispensation!!!

*December 5 - 9, 2012 - Daddy traveled to Haiti for Court!!!

*December 6, 2012 - Court:):):) - Esther's name officially changed to Esther Florial Short!

*April 1, 2013 - Applied for Passport

*April 18, 2013 - Filed I-600

*April 28 - May 1, 2013 - Papa traveled to Haiti for Sophiana's court date!!!

*May 17, 2013 - Received Esther's Passport!!!:)

*May 24, 2013 - I-600 Provisional Approval:)

*June 20 - 24, 2013 - Mimi & I traveled to Haiti to visit Sophiana & Esther:)

*July 16, 2013 - I-604 interview (birth parent interview)

*August 16, 2013 - Final I-600 Approval!!!

*August 26, 2013 - Visa Exit Interview:):):)

*September 30, 2013 Homecoming!!!!!!!!!!! Praise Jesus!!!
